Biography
My Name is Justice Cooke. I was born in Sapotaweyak, but have attended school in Little Saskatchewan, and have just recently moved to Mountain View School, in Barrows - all in Manitoba. I enjoy sports and the outdoors, but really enjoy reading and doing science projects. I am in Grade seven, and this year was my second year participating in science fair. I was very lucky both times. Last year at the regionals I received the Genome Prairie Award for a project on fingerprinting and family connections, and this year I got a trip to the CWSF. This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me.

Region:Manitoba First Nations
City:Winnipeg, MB
School:Mountain View School
Abstract:In this project I used a flashlight as a light source and used different colour filters over it to create different colours of light. I shone the light through jars of water with different amounts of milk dissolved in them to create different levels of "cloudiness". I used a light meter to measure the intensity of light coming through in lumens.
