Biography
Alyssa Moss here, I think I will like to start off this little biography by telling you a little about myself. I am a grade 10 student at the wonderful Riverview High School. I use to go to Centre Scolaire Étoile de l'Acadie, an all French school in Sydney (from grade primary to 9) so I'm bilingual. I love being able to speak French and English fluently! It has it's avantages. I have many interests, but I'll narrow it down to my favorites. I play volley-ball in the fall, winter and spring and soccer during the summer. My favorite subjects in school are science and visual art. I love to draw, scrapbook, paint, photograph, etc. I enjoy expressing myself with drawings. I find science the most interesting subject because it draws my attention. Future plans for me… well I think that is still a mystery. My interests are so varied and I haven’t really decided what I will do. Right now I’m not looking ahead too far, I’m focusing on now, which is the upcoming national science fair (woo, I'm so excited) !!!!!!!!!!

Abstract:This project studied the preference of visual art containing ordered elements versus disordered elements. Children, adolescents and adults were tested through a survey, which looked at aspects such as patterns, symmetry, organization and balance. Analysis of the data indicated that age influenced the preference of art chosen. These results could be useful in the applications of visual advertising.
