Biographies
Tatjana - I am a 14 year old girl. I was born in Knin, Krajna (which is now part Croatia). I have one 12 year old brother. My favourite subjects in school are; science, language and art. I have been told many times that I am talented in the arts. In school I participate in the science-fair, volley-ball, basket-ball, base-ball, choir, recycling, equity club, and an art project for the Hamilton Harbour. I also enjoy reading, music and dancing. I like seeing new places because it's different from where I live. I also like seeing varieties of art work because it is so interesting and sometimes gives me inspirations for my own art work. I also like photography. It could just be a picture of the sky but I'll still take a picture of it, so it will not escape my memory. When I was a little girl, I always believed I was going to be a teacher. But now I realize I will have career in the wonderful field of science. Probably a doctor or researcher, but mainly in biology.
Wardah - I'm a muslim girl, that goes to Sir Wilfrid Laurier School in Hamilton, Ontario. I have 2 sisters, a brother and two very loving parents. I love to keep myself busy with enjoyable activities. As well as participating in the science fair, I enjoy participating in various school activities such as basketball, volleyball, equity club, environmental club, choir, musical plays, track and feild, talent shows and cross country. I also participate in activities at my mousque (I like to stick with religious stuff as well). Sometimes I feel like I'm doing too much, especially when we're given alot of homework, but it's worth it! My intrests includes reading, writing, singing, learning about computers, going to places away from home with family or friends (like Ottawa), listening to music, hanging out with friends and doing art and science projects. I look forward to the Bay Areas science fair each year. Out of all the awards I have won, being able to participate in the CWSF is one of my most notable achievments, which I'll never forget. When I was young, I wished to be a teacher, but now I want to go to university and gain a career in computer technology.
