Lighting the Way - Chemiluminescence Predicts Cell Growth

Chemiluminescence is caused by oxygen radicals, which are produced as a by-product of metabolism. Metabolism is linked to growth rate. My results suggest that chemiluminescence may be an effective indicator of growth rate. |
