Abstract:This invention is a mobile Human-Machine Interface designed for people suffering from spinal cord injuries. Its purpose is to improve their quality of life. It’s designed around 2 inertial sensors which simultaneously measure a person’s head movements along two different axis (up/down & left/right). The sensors are read by an embedded controller which, in turn, controls devices like computers and wheel-chairs.
