Abstract:Does the temperature at which popcorn is stored affect how well it pops? It was hypothesized, in comparing 3 temperatures, that popcorn will pop best at room temperature. The tests were conducted after all bags were stored for 24 hours in their locations. The results showed that the freezer and refrigerator bags had the most unpopped kernels, while the room temperature bags contained very few.
