Biography
My name is Archita Adluri. I am a grade 10 student at Holy Heart High School in St. John's, NL. I am a member of my school student council and Rotary INTERACT club, Debate and Model UN. I also play cello and piano, and I am a green belt in chito-ryu karate. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking and sewing. Science and math are my favourite subjects, and I hope to pursue a career in one of those fields.

Abstract:This Project aimes to study the use of LC phase crystals of 8CB as an indicator of pollutants in water. Due to their property to form mono and multilayers, which can be monitored for disruptions and changes, this project has found that 8CB is indicative to pollutants in water
