Biography
I am Brenton Sutherland, a grade 11 student at Dalbrae Academy, and a resident of Port Hood, Nova Scotia. In my spare time I enjoy reading, mathematics, physics, robotics and building things. After high school I plan at studying at university in the fields of science or engineering. My project was a consolidation of my interests in robotics, flight and programming. My first work related to the field of robotics was 3 years ago when I built a small robot.

Abstract:My project involved the creation of flight controller needed to control and keep in flight a quadcopter UAV. The flight controller software is capable of independently adjusting the speed of four motors, wireless control from a PC, gathering data from sensors, dealing with sensor errors, and auto-stabilization of the UAV.
