I have chosen to take the most demanding courses offered at my high school, the International Baccalaureate program. I have been involved in many school activities: the student representative council, the Club Hope volunteer society, and our yearbook. I am involved in athletics, I play Softball and Volleyball for my school and for different club teams. I was awarded the Excellence in Leadership Trophy in June 2005. I have attended the Rock the Boat Leadership Conferences and Legion Leadership Camp. My most memorable experience has been the trip I took to Portugual and Spain in March 2006. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and it has sparked my interest to travel abroad in my future. I plan on attending Mount Allison University to get my Bachelor of Sciences concentrating in Biology. After this I plan to attend Medical School in order to emerge as a Pediatrician. |

This project was based on the intertidal zone of the Bay of Fundy in Saint John, New Brunswick. The population densities and average diameters of Balanus balanoides at four locations were calculated in order to determine the impact of pollution on the barnacles. |
