I am also going to Barzil in August for a year with Rotary Youth Exchange. I would like to learn more about our oceans and take a marine biology coarse and get my bachelors in science. Abstract:My project is on the symbiotic relationship with coral and a dinoflagellate algae called zooanthellae. I examined nine different species of corals and one pest anemone under a high powered microscope to see which species of coral/anemone would contain the most zooxanthellae algae and what the different corals/anemone were relying on for food. Then I compared the growth of the different species of corals.
