Biography
My name is Talia Noelle Woodland, I'm thirteen and I'm in grade eight. I love sports, so I joined the girls basketball team and helped take our team to the gold medal. I love to snowboard and play lots of sports. I play percussion in grade eight advanced band and I play guitar for fun. Last summer me and some of my family hiked the Chilkoot. I love the outdoors and anything adventurous. Since I'm always looking for a challenge I take breakdancing classes at the local dance studio. I really enjoy them and I love to listen to music.

A Matter of Taste: It's Only Water
Division:Life Sciences / Environmental Innovation
Category:Junior
Region:Yukon Stikine
City:Whitehorse, YT
School:F. H. Collins
Abstract:This project tested if people could taste the difference between tap water and bottled water. I tested 26 different people and asked them to rate the water taste from 1 to 10. I also asked if they could guess which water out of the 6 samples was which brand or if it was tap. The results showed that people can't taste the difference.
