Biography
My name is Akruti Patel. I’m a grade 10 student at Northern Collegiate I.&V.S. in Sarnia Ontario. This will be my 2nd time attending CWSF and I’m anxiously looking forward to an enjoyable time in Winnipeg. Besides actively participating in science fairs, I also attend public speaking contests, where I won 1st in district this year, volunteer at the hospital and at the YMCA aquatics centre. I’m also looking forward to giving my gr.7 piano exam this summer. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, running and swimming at the beach. My experiences living in different countries such as India and Saudi Arabia, and participating in mock UN conferences has broadened my multicultural background. Science has had a great impact in my life and it will continue to be a part of my future. I hope to continue on with my sciences in university and work in a science related career.
