Biography
I am 14 years old and attend Ecole Secondaire de Pain Court, in Pain Court Ontario. I'm in grade 9 and participate in school volleyball, improve, dance and singing. I regularly volunteer for the Heart & Stroke and sometimes at the YMCA. I've won many awards in school activities and also the Kiwanis Music Festival. This is my second CWSF and I cannot wait to arrive in Winnipeg because I had such a great experience last year in Ottawa. To see all of the great experiments and studies performed by my peers is unbelievable. I want to continue doing science fairs to help prepare me for university and life in general. I am also proud to represent my French school district, as last year was our first opportunity to attend the regional science fair and I was fortunate to represent my French community last year and again this year.

Abstract:My project studied the physical changes that occurred to marigolds after being shocked by 300 milli amps twice daily, 3 minutes each time for 26 days, compared to marigolds that received no shocks. The results showed that the shocked plant's germination rate doubled compared to the non shocked, in addition to a higher growth rate compared to the nonshocked plants in addition to deeper colour.
