Biography
My name is Howard. I am currently in grade 8 and I go to WG Davis Senior Public School for the IB program. In school, my favorite subjects are physical education, math, and science. They are mainly the subjects that I succeed in. My favorite sports include: tennis, hockey, and ping-pong. I also swim and play basketball. After high school, I plan on going to an Ivy League university, notably Harvard, to enrich my experiences and going through the Canada-Wide Science Fair is something that will make that journey easier. I have won many awards, mainly in math, and this is the first time I will competing in a science competition, but I hope to pick up my first science award. Well, this is mainly who I am and I look forward to Winnipeg!

Abstract:This science fair project was about lactose intolerance. Lactose intolerance is a condition in which people cannot break down lactose. A majority of them take lactase caplets to relieve symptoms of lactose intolerance. Four factors were tested to see what effect each factor would have on the breakdown of lactose after adding the lactase pills.
