Biographies
Alisha - My name is Alisha Nanji and I am in grade 7. I attend Richmond Hill Montessori School and have been going there since preschool. I am the President of the Student Council and my twin sister is the Vice President. I love doing many things in my spare time, such as playing basketball, soccer, dancing, and also playing musical instruments. I love playing the piano and the flute. I have many achievements that I have accomplished, including winning gold in the public speech award, winning gold in a French Poetry contest, and winning gold two times in Science Expo. I am also very involved in school, being in many sport teams, including outdoor and indoor soccer, the badminton team, and the volleyball team. I am also in the choir.
Natasha - My name is Natasha Nanji and I am thirteen years old. I go to Richmond Hill Montessori and Elementary Private School. I have a twin sister, Alisha. We love doing many things together such as playing sports, and being partners for projects together. In fact, since Alisha and I love doing many things together, we ran for being the president and vice president of our school. Now, Alisha is the school’s president and I am the vice president. This is very cool because both of us work together and plan many events such as sport days, dances, casual days, etc. Some of my hobbies are cross country running, soccer, basketball, dancing, playing guitar and saxophone. Some of my achievements are getting third out of seventy girls in cross country running, gold in a French poetry contest, gold, two years in a row, in public speaking, second in the art contest and winning gold in Music Alive.

A Brighter Future with Safer Water Fountains

Abstract:Bacteria are present on water fountains. More bacteria were found on primary grade fountains when compared to the elementary grade fountains. Further investigations revealed that the bacteria on the fountains were gram negative rods which are harmful to one’s health. These results were statistically significant. We have also designed an innovative “green” water fountain design that can help in the prevention of transmission of bacteria.
