Biography
My name is kelly Yang, and I am a grade 8 student at Bishop EQ Jennings School, Thunder Bay, Ontario. My favorite subjects are Science and Art. I play violin in the Thunder Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra. Some of my hobbies include painting, reading and soccer. I would like to attend an honorable medical school in Canada and become a medical doctor in the future. This is my first time to attend Canadian Wide Science Fair, and I wish I can make new friends and learn new things in Leithbridge AB.

H2S turns flowering energy to growing new leaves
Challenge:Resources
Category:Junior
Region:Northwestern Ontario
City:Thunder Bay, ON
School:Bishop E.Q. Jennings
Abstract:H2S is a gas that is healthy to our body at very small amounts. My experiment aims to test if H2S could help plants by preventing flowering but growing new leaves. When green vegatables start to flower, their nutrition goes to the flowers, resulting in an end to leaf growth, but with H2S, we can prevent this.
