Biographies
Makayla - My name is Makayla Piche. I am a 14 year old student in grade 9. I got my project idea from Acid Rain. For my further investigations I'm going to use more snow samples, and get information about the Oil Sands in Alberta. My advice to other students thinking about doing a project is, work hard, do lots of research, and try your best.
Eden - My name is Eden Fontaine and I am a 14 year old student in grade 8. I have been to the 2013 science camp in Quebec. I got my project idea from Acid Rain. For my further investigations I'm going to use more snow samples,and get information about the Oil Sands in Alberta. Abstract:Our project focuses on the pollution affects of the Alberta Oil Sands on the environment.We tested snow samples from Fort McMurray and other geographical areas east of Fort McMurray,measuring the pH level differences of the snow between the two test areas. Our experiment has shown there is environmental affects in Saskatchewan due to the Alberta Oil Sands.
