Biography
My name is Owen Falkenham. I am 14 and in grade 8 at Bedford Academy. I play hockey and basketball. I got my inspiration for the project from the media coverage of the many accidents in the Halifax area, and the new measures being put in in the area at crosswalks to try and stop distracted drivers (zebra stripes, flags, etc.). Thinking a vehicle based system might be more effective I built prototype and tested its effectiveness. In the future I would like to convert this project to an eye tracking system and implement it into a car.
