Biography
Wendell Sta Maria is a 13-year-old student from Regina, Saskatchewan. He enjoys many hands-on science experiments. He often likes to take apart electronic devices to look at the individual parts that make it and how they work separately and together as one. He constructs his own circuits, mechanisms, and contraptions with these many parts. In the past, he has constructed a working skill-crane machine using various motors from remote-controlled cars. Wendell enjoys being creative when designing these projects, is great with dogs and kids, and also enjoys long walks on the beach. Wendell is grateful to be representing his school and his city at the 2018 Canada Wide Science Fair.

Abstract:Electromyography is the research and recording of the electrical within your muscles. My project is questioning if different ages would change the electrical outcome. In my experiment, I used an EMG/ECG shield placed on an Arduino which connects to the laptop/electromyograph. This is then connected using contact electrodes
