Superconductors: Resistance is Futile!
Division:International
Category:Intermediate

Abstract:The effect of temperature on electrical resistance was tested. Electrical resistance was found to decrease with temperature in a linear fashion and become zero at a superconducting critical temperature. Electrical resistance is a result of atomic lattice vibrations and a material’s resistivity is related to its number of free electrons.
