Abstract:I studied diabetes and the pre-hospital emergency care that can be provided to diabetics. I examined the protocols for four levels of paramedics. Diabetes results when the body doesn’t produce insulin or can’t use the insulin produced. Higher training results in more care paramedics can provide for diabetic patients.
