Abstract:This project tested the effect of household detergents on marigolds. Marigolds were watered with a variety of laundry detergents diluted with water. Some laundry detergents destroyed natural materials, while phosphate free and non-alkaline detergents confirmed that they are environmentally friendly. This was analysed by man-made measuring devices and human observation.
