| Jason - I thrive on busyness. When I'm not hard at work at my studies, I'm either hanging out with my friends, listening to music or playing my tenor saxophone, enjoying a classic novel while lying in my hammock, or out dancing at the local swing clubs. I'm torn between my love of music performance (specifically jazz) and my love of science. With the end of secondary school arriving, and the beginning of post-secondary education, part of my dilemma is to what I desire to study. I plan to study at the local University in my community, the University of the Fraser Valley. Incorporating both my love of music and sciences during my post-secondary years will be a challenge I will take on gladly. Presently I'm involved in my school's choir, concert band, jazz band, marching band, and drumline. Our bands and choirs are to travel to New York to compete at the end of April. To unwind, I spend my time at the gym, or swing dancing, or sitting back and playing a jazz ballad on my saxophone. | | Sarah - My name is Sarah Reimer, and I'm in grade 12. Simulations were performed with GROMACS software (version 3.3) and OPLS (Optimized Potential for Liquid Simulation) parameters. |
