Biographie
My name is Justice Linklater and I am a grade 9 student at Nisichawayasihk Neyo Ohtinwak Collegiate in Nelson House, Manitoba. I am a member of the cadet core in my community and I love to play hockey for my hobby. I received several academic and citizenship awards during my elementary and high school years. The last awards I received were a gold medal and two major awards in science fair. I plan to complete high school and do post- secondary in law in Toronto. I received the inspiration for my project from my teacher who approached me with the idea of making biodiesel. To do a project takes a lot of research and understanding of what you are doing. I am glad to be a representative of my school and community at this Canada Wide Science Fair.

Sommaire:The purpose of my project is to make diesel fuel out of recycled Canola vegetable oil. In the project I researched how biodiesel is produced; then set up an apparatus, and produced test batches of biodiesel by changing the chemical properties of used canola oil. Finally, the fuel was tested by burning it.
