Biography
My name is Joey Charette. I am a Grade 8 student at Sandwich West Public School in LaSalle, Ontario. My interests include playing sports, traveling with my family and spending time with my friends. I have a passion for working with metal and enjoy designing and building in my workshop. Some of the things that I am proud of include winning a local CBC story writing contest and competing in the regional science fair for the past two years. My favorite sports are baseball and football. My baseball team has done very well, twice competing for the Little League Provincial Championship. My football team was undefeated this year. Although our family travels have taken us many great places, my favorite vacation is spending time with my family at the cottage. I am looking forward to being at the national science fair this year. I was excited to have been able to present my project at the Grand Rounds at Sunny Brook Health Sciences - George Brown College Prosthetics and Orthotics Program. My goal is to go to university and become a professional engineer, while playing as much football as possible along the way.
