Biographie
Curtis Hall is a grade 7 student in the Kootenay Christian Academy and has been involved in science fairs since grade 2. Curtis loves the outdoors and spends a lot of time hunting, hiking, fishing, swimming, biking and camping. Most of his science projects have been about the environment. Some of his hobbies include model buliding, archery, art, and pets. Curtis enjoys youth group and he is looking forward to attending the Youth Confrence in Edmonton. Curtis is intrested in becoming a gourmet chef, artist or a musician (drummer). Some of Curtis' science awards include the Best Forestry Related Project, Best Overall Project and gold and silver medals. Curtis has strived to attend the CWSF since he started in grade 2. His future goals are to become a part of the Canadian Team to compete in International Science Fairs.

Sommaire:Due to the increasing use of fertilizers in our environment, many lakes in Canada run the risk of becoming eutrophied. This experiment compares organic and chemical fertilizers on the phytoplankton growth in the water of Tie Lake, British Columbia.
