| Sheldon Vissers, Emily Vissers The Upright Silo Deicer
Division: | Sciences de la santé / Aucun | Catégorie: | Sénior | Région: | Chignecto Central West | Ville: | Milford, NS | École: | Hants East Rural High School | Sommaire: | We built an Upright Silo Deicer which sits on the frozen silage between feeding times to thaw the frozen feed built up on the walls of silos. We tested it with a small model (2 cubic foot bin) and a larger scale model (250 gallon barrel). The Upright Silo Deicer does thaw enough silage to meet the needs of the daily feed requirements. |
