Division: | International / None | Category: | Intermediate | Region: | Kitikmeot | City: | kugluktuk, NU | School: | Kugluktuk H.S. | Abstract: | When people shuffle their feet across the carpet and then touch a metal door knob then they get a shock. I demonstrated how static electricity works to explain how shocks work. In the north, it can get really dry in the winter and this allows electrons to move easier, resulting in more shocks. |
