Biography |
---|
I am in grade eight at Turnbull School in Ottawa, Ontario. I was born in Ottawa and have lived here all my life. I play on my school's basketball, soccer, and badminton teams. My favourite subjects at school are science and English. Since grade four, I have won three writing awards, a Student of the Year award, a French award, and an overall perseverance award. My hobbies include competitive dance (jazz, tap, ballet), skiing, running, and playing the flute. I spend approximately eight and a half hours a week dancing. Next year I am going to Canterbury High School, a high school of the arts, for dance. In my non-existent "spare" time I enjoy reading, writing, photography and shopping. During the summer I enjoy sailing and solo canoeing at a overnight camp at a remote lake. This is my second year at the Canada Wide Science Fair, and I had wanted to attend since grade three, when my first sister attended. Both of my older sisters have been to the Canada-Wide Science Fair. |
