I am a computer programmer, first and foremost. I have been programming for a large part of my life; four and a half of my fourteen years. I volunteer a large portion of my time to helping others with computer and programming problems through online message boards. I have completed three computer distance-learning courses from Athabasca University, earning an at least an A- on all three. I also have done some web design, and have my own website on the internet. In addition, I play hockey, and ski regularly. I have entered the science fair twice; the first time I won a silver medal. This year, I won a gold medal and the LaFarge Science, Technology and Society award for my project on the OLPC XO laptop. I have played piano for seven years and violin for six. |
