Thomas comes from Tatamagouche, a small village in Nova Scotia. He is autistic and started school on a part time basis with assistance. Overcoming these challenges, he went on to gain Honors with Distinction each year in Junior High and High school. He was able to graduate two years early, aged 16, but chose to stay on at school to broaden his education and continue to develop his mathematical ideas. He is active in the Scouting movement and is a Chief Scout. Thomas continues to put in many hours of community service, both at home and abroad, as a Venturer. He is currently instrumental in setting up an orphanage in Kenya. Thomas is an avid reader, enjoying philosophy, science fiction and non fiction. He enjoys hiking and camping, and climbed Kilimanjaro last year. His favorite escapes are making and playing computer games, and time at Camp Lone Cloud, where he attends as a councillor in training. He will be attending Mount Allison University next year, where he intends to study a double major in mathematics and physics. This is his third time at the CWSF as a member of Team Nova Scotia. |

This was tested on experimental data, and results compared to standard statistical analysis. It is not applicable where there is a small control group, but overall it is both powerful and versatile. |
