| My name is Oliver Lindstrom. I am 12 years old and in grade 8. I am home schooled through Nechako Ebus Academy in Vanderhoof, but live in Fraser Lake, British Columbia. This is my first year going to the CWSF and I am very excited about going. My favorite sports are golfing and cross-country skiing. My favorite subjects are Science and English. I plan to attend university to study either Chiropractic or Genetic Engineering. |

I designed the experiment to test many different variables. These variables included direct sunlight, indirect sunlight, lidded jars, non-lidded jars, and different room temperatures. I discovered that the best environment for algae to grow was a cooler one; about 15-20 degrees Celsius with indirect light. |
