Biographie
I was born in the bustling city of Oshawa, Ontario. My parents’ names are Don and Colleen and I have one older brother, Eric. At the age of 10, I moved from the big city to a small town near Norwood, Ontario. It was a big change but I really enjoy all of the fresh air and small-town-friendly people. I live on a farm with seven horses and thirty-some cows, and the herd is growing everyday! I am currently in grade nine at Holy Cross Secondary School and I hope to take this opportunity to pursue a science career in the future. My favorite things to do in my spare time include reading, going to movies with friends, playing recreational sports and practicing guitar.

Sommaire:This study evaluated the effects of caffeine on crickets. Crickets were fed two concentrations of caffeine solution and then given a choice of water or caffeine solution. Mass, length and reactivity were also measured before and after exposure. Caffeine fed crickets preferred a caffeine solution over water. This experiment shows that crickets experience many similar changes in body function and behavior as humans do.
