| Kelsey - My name is Kelsey Coughlin, I am 15 years old and go to Almaguin Highlands Secondary School. I was born on April 8, 1993 in North Bay Civic Hospital. I enjoy horseback riding at my grandparents riding stable. My hobbies include, shopping, singing and dance. Besides science, my favorite subjects in school are, drama and english. At my grade eight graduation, I recieved the award for excellence in computer sciences and in the future I plan to be a teacher. | | Sable - My name is Sable Giesler! I'm 13 years old and I'm in grade 9. I attend Almaguin Highlands Secondary School and I live in Powassan. My favorite subject in school besides science is drama. I live with my mom and dad and I'm an only child. I don't participate in school sports, instead I participate in competeive horseback riding. I own two horses and compete in 3-day eventing with them both. When I graduate from high school I plan to get my bachelor's in scinece and then further my education by getting a degree in vetrenarian medicine. |

The purpose of our experiment is to find out what type of grass, that can be planted near highways is the best to remove calcium chloride (road salt) from the soil. Run off from road salt kills many species of aquatic life and lowers soil quality. |
