A Thaw-ful Situation: A Freezing Apparatus for Experimental Permafrost Failure

Through research I found that global warming is causing the melting of permafrost. I studied it’s melting affect on structures. I tested different slope angles (0º, 10º and 20º) and different temperatures ( 5ºC, 10ºC and 20ºC). I measured the effects on it’s melting using time-elapse video cameras and temperature recording software. |
