Hi, My name is Shelby Cox and I am a Level 2 student at Holy Name of Mary Academy in Lawn, Newfoundland & Labrador. I am involved in a number of different activities at my school which includes drama, sports, Allied Youth, Tutoring for Tuition and Kindergarten slideshow for graduations to name a few. My interest in Science Fairs started a few years back in Grade 7 after getting a taste of success. I wanted to continue being involved because I really enjoyed learning about various scientific processes. My current investigations on Bioremediation has come from the ongoing attention associated with numerous enviromental issuess facing today's society. It is very important for today's youth to take notice of these issues and then try to address these problems in order to have a safe future for everyone. I wish everyone competiting the best of luck, thank-you to the adjudicators, teachers and organizors who have provided this great opportunity!
