| My name is Elizabeth Hass and I am in Grade 7 at Red Deer Lake School, just south of Calgary, Alberta. My favourite subjects in school are social studies and language arts. I participate in Leadership at my school. I enjoy horseback riding, taking care of animals, cooking and reading. I would like to study veterinary medicine after high school. |

Oats and canola were grown in two separate trials one with decreased UV rays and one with increased UV rays. This project showed that increased UV radiation does have an impact on plant productivity by negatively impacting germination. |
