| My name is Sammi Manderson and I am a grade eight student at Dr. George Hall P.S. I take my academics seriously but am also involved in many extra curricular activities. I have been on many of the school’s sports teams and I’m a member of the Intermediate Choir. I have played the saxophone for two years and am working on my third year for guitar. I am also a member in the concert band at my school. Being an active member in the community is important to me as well. With the choir, we toured Senior homes and the local hospital, I do volunteer work with the K9 Unit of Georgian Bay Volunteer Search & Rescue. I have just cut my hair off for cancer and raised over $1000 for cancer research.This is my second year in the 2817 Army Cadet core where I am currently a private. |
