Biography
Born in Budapest, Hungary, Mark Bezdek came to Canada in 2003, at the age of 9. This is currently his third year attending the CWSF. Mark has a wide interest of Mathematics and Science, Mark is also interested in hockey, soccer, and basketball. When he grows up he would like to be a hotel manager. Mark plans to finish his undergraduate years at the University of Calgary. Mark lives by the quote "The best way to live your life is to be an optimist." Mark loves to be outside and play sports with his brothers and friends and also loves to visit other countries. Mark speaks three languages.

Abstract:Imagine a room that you want to illuminate with floodlights in a most economical way. Imagine that instead of illuminating the entire room, you want to illuminate the walls or just a stage in the room. But again we search for a most economical solution. We prove seven new theorems and raise some open questions as well for further investigation.
