Biographie
My name is Brandon Fillmore and I am fourteen years old. This is my first year of entering the Canada Wide Science Fair, and it has been a great ride. I have a passion for everything with wheels and have taken apart and helped fix a few vehicles. I had the opportunity to go to the Historica Fair Nationals in middle school, but had to decline due to a life threatening allergy to milk which I have recently outgrown. I have been on multiple sports teams, the most recent being volleyball. I recently placed second in my school for the Pascal Math Contest. Last year I had the highest marks in my grade. I enjoy wake-boarding, swimming, downhill skiing, biking, and just spending time outside. Each summer, I volunteer to work with young children at the Daily Vacation Bible School at my church. This summer, my Dad and I are driving across Newfoundland on an ATV. I am planning on going to university to become a mechanical engineer or an architect.

Sommaire:This project documents the development of the Lateral Balance System and its' potential benefits for vehicle handling and safety. A home-designed model was used to show and test the design. The plan for the L.B.S. system is to use pneumatics to eliminate the need for a stabilizer bar, while actively helping prevent vehicular roll-over and loss of control.
