Abstract:As the rate of deforestation increases, a new fibre is needed to replace wood. Corn residue is a viable alternative. Every year millions of tonnes of corn stover are left in the field to decay. Replicating the procedure used to create wood based particleboard, a corn based particleboard can be produced.
