Biographie
I spent the first five years of my life in Northern Québec, growing up in a village of 35 people, where my father was a bush pilot and an outfitter. My house was the former school and we were the only children, so my older brother and sister, Louis and Gabrielle, were taught by my mother. After my father’s death, I moved with my family to Belleville, Ontario. I started going to school at Albert College so my brother, my sister and I could learn English. However, I continued speaking French at home and still do. I enjoy horse-back riding, long distance running, writing, the arts and spending time with my family and my cat. When I am older, I want to be a Grade One teacher and own a horse farm. A few things I want to do in my lifetime are to go sky-diving, back-pack through rural Italy and see the Northern Lights.

Sommaire:“Do You Eat the Red Ones Last?” is an experiment conducted to see the effects of red artificial food colouring. Mice were trained to go through a maze and their performance before and after being introduced to food colouring was analyzed. The results show that the ingestion of food colouring impairs the ability of the mice to maintain their optimal performance.
