I am a Grade 7 French Immersion student at École New Era in Brandon, Manitoba. Along with school sports like basketball, volleyball and badminton, I play hockey. I also like to golf, ski, swim and race go-carts in the “Kiwanis Kar Derby”. I play the violin in the Suzuki Junior Orchestra at the Brandon University School of Music and I play the euphonium in the school band. One day, I would like to be a dentist. |

Soil solution samples containing different amounts of Vitamin D were plated in home-made nutrient agar. Bacterial growth was recorded after a 48 hour incubation period in a converted oven. All samples containing Vitamin D had less bacterial growth than samples without Vitamin D. Also, as the amount of Vitamin D increased, bacterial growth decreased. |
