Kristina - My name is Kristina Milisavljevic. I was born on April 5th, 1995 in Hamilton, Ontario. I currently live in Hamilton, with my family. I have an older brother and 2 loving parents. I go to Sir Wilfrid Laurier Public school and I am in grade eight. I love animals, chocolate, and shopping. I enjoy playing volleyball and badminton. I like to go to the movies and hang out with friends most of the time. I plan to become a Biologist, Veterinarian, or a Pediatrician. I have participated in the Bay Area Science Engineering Fair of 2008 and achieved a Bronze Merit Award. Through out previous years at Sir Wilfrid Laurier I have won Student of the Month Excellence awards and have experienced amazing experiences. | Zunaira - My name is Zunaira Tarique. I was born on July 16th, 1995 in Lahore, Pakistan, and later immigrated to Canada in 2001. I have 3 younger sisters. I go to Sir Wilfrid Laurier Public school and I am in the eighth grade. At school, I like to participate in extra curricular activities. Science and Math are my favourite subjects. My hobbies are to go shopping, hanging out with friends, reading books and watching movies. I enjoy playing basketball and volleyball. I plan to become either a doctor or a lawyer. I have participated in BASEF 2008 in which I won one award. This year, I have won a gold medal and two other awards. Winning to participate in Canada Wide Science Fair is one of my greatest achievements yet. During my past school years, I have won many Academic awards and Student of the Month awards. |

Part B: Homemade disinfectants were tested on the bacteria. Bacillus Subtillis was cultured in Petri dishes containing Nutrient Agar. Coloured discs, each treated with a disinfectant were placed on the Nutrient Agar and incubated for 72 hours then observed. Procedure was repeated with part B. |
