My name is Megan Schlorff. I am seventeen years old and I have lived in Hanover, Ontario all my life. I attend grade eleven at Sacred Heart High School in Ontario where I am an honours student. I am a member of the school band where I play the clarinet, a member of the Environmental Committee on the Student Advisory Council, and a member of the school's senior Reach for the Top team. Outside of school I enjoy step dancing and playing the piano. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends and I love curling up with a good book. I really enjoy the scrapbooking and photography because they allow me to express myself creatively. I also enjoy cooking, exercising, yoga, and applying "green" habits to my lifestyle. I have always had a passion for science and this science fair project is the eighth one that I have completed. I have represented Canada at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists in Paris, France and at the International Sustainable World Project Olympiad in Houston, Texas where I won a silver medal. I am currently interested pursuing a career in medicine focusing on holistic health. |
