| Scott Humphreys The Efficiency of Vertical Wind Turbines
Division: | Life Sciences | Category: | Senior | Region: | Wood Buffalo | City: | Fort McMurray, AB | School: | Westwood Community High School | Abstract: | Vertical axle wind turbines are in a very early stage as a technology. Commercial development has only occurred in a few instances and private attempts at construction are often based on convenience of materials rather than efficiency. I’ve designed my experiment to test classical VAWT plans and some of my own developments for efficiency to see which models are best for personal and commercial development. |
