| I am a quick learner and an enthusiastic team member who reads and plays sports in my free time. I graduated Kingslake Public School with the top marks in my grade level and am currently attending Silver Stream Public School. I enjoy taking part in many extra-curricular activities at school, including the Student Leadership Council, Character Matters and French Club. I am a student ambassador, leader and secretary, library and morning announcements monitor and school mail distributor. I have been a proud Master of Ceremony for community fundraising events like the Terry Fox Run and Jump Rope for Heart. I am part of the York Region Eco League Team and a member of the Friends of the Rouge Watershed Organization. Recently, I have finished my term of duty as a Legislative Page at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Some of the awards I have won are: the gold medal at the 2008 Canada-Wide Science Fair; the Principal’s Award for Student Leadership; the Valedictorian Award; the Fibonacci, Pythagoras and Gauss Mathematics Contest Diplomas and Science and Technology Awards. In the future, I would like to become a neuroscientist. I plan to continue to work hard towards reaching all of my goals. |

Based on my own surveys, I determined the brain dominance and thinking preferences styles of teenagers and examined their impact on Emotional Intelligence competencies, which influence behaviour towards bullying and in the Automotive domain. Developing the skills of using our emotions and thoughts wisely is about Growing Up Emotionally Smart. |
