Biographie
My name is Soheil Ghaffari. I was born in Iran. I moved to Toronto at age four in 2007. After three years, I moved to Nova Scotia. Right now, I am in grade eight playing piano, violin, french horn, and tenor saxophone. I am taking advanced arts and have three academic awards, a highest average award, and a most outstanding student award for my volunteering, participation in extracurricular activities, and academics. I hope to either be an Ophthalmologist, or a Maxillofacial surgeon. I chose to study on Wi-Fi and other forms of radiation when my previous grade six project showed that Wi-Fi has a decreasing effect on the lifespan of a plate of mung seedlings by increasing the growth rate.

Sommaire:This project examines electromagnetic radiations (EMR) that cause health issues amongst school students. Radiation levels are observed, to test for environmental safety. Student surveys identified the incidence of electromagnetic hypersensitivity syndrome at 2 local schools. The results indicated that 27.5% were susceptible to EMR within an environment causing health effects.
