| My name is Drew Springer and I am currently going to school at Foam Lake Composite School. In school I participate in curling, badminton, drama, and track. Out of school I am involved in piano, curling, 4-H, and soccer. Some things that I enjoy are ice cream, movies, girls, and Camaros. What I hope to be when I am older is to be a farmer/rancher. This will be the very first time I am attending the CWSF. |

Let's Make Vinegar! Is it Possible to Produce Acetic Acid From Barley?

I malted the barley which converts the starches to sugars, and then converted the sugars to alcohol in the process of acetification. During the acetification step I converted the alcohol into vinegar, or acetic acid. |
