My name is Victoria Hanousek. I am a grade seven student at McLeod Public School in Sudbury, Ontario. This is my first year participating in the Science Fair and I am really excited to be a part of this event. I am involved in many extra-curricular activities for both my school and my community. I play softball, volleyball, soccer and compete in track and field. I really enjoy being in a competitive team environment. I enjoy reading a good book, going to the movies and hanging out with my friends. |

Division: | Sciences de la vie | Catégorie: | Junior | Région: | Sudbury | Ville: | Sudbury, ON | École: | MacLeod P.S. | Sommaire: | Peripheral vision is important in our everyday lives, from driving cars to playing sports. This project studied the effects eye colour may have on peripheral vision and other variables such as type of object, availability of light, subject’s age and sex. The initial data demonstrated that subjects with brown eyes have a larger peripheral view in both types of light availability. |
